The 2023 course is new and unique for this year!

The 2023 Raleigh Holiday Half Marathon will start on the track at River Bend Middle School and then will head north on the Neuse River Trail before turning around just past the Capital Boulevard bridge.

Spectators

There are a few spots that will be ideal for spectators, with parking:

  1. Trailhead Lane trailhead located at 198 Trailhead Ln, Raleigh, NC 27616 (1.1 & 12 mile mark)
  2. WRAL Soccer Park located at 7700 Perry Creek Rd, Raleigh, NC 27616 (3.2 & 10 mile mark)
  3. Thornton Road trailhead located at 6100 Thornton Rd, Raleigh, NC 27816 (5.4 & 7.8 mile mark)
  4. Bedfordtown Drive trailhead located at 10888 Bedfordtown Dr, Raleigh, NC 27614. Note: You’ll go down to the Neuse and take a right. The race turnaround is approximately .75 miles from the Parking Lot.

Aid Stations

There will be 3 aid stations that runners will pass twice (aside from the halfway), for 6 total. They will be located as follows:

  1. Trailhead Lane trailhead– 1.1m & 12m hosted by Runologie (Water)
  2. WRAL Soccer Park – 3.2m & 10m hosted by lululemon Crabtree (Water & Gatorade + portojons)
  3. Thornton Road trailhead  – 5.4m & 7.8m hosted by Raleigh Distance Project (Water & Gatorade)
